PUSHING TO THE FRONT<br />

Step 2: Body<br />

Being aware of your body language is a big way to effectively own the<br />

room. Once you are clear about the “whys” in your heart, your body<br />

language just got ten times easier. Body language really has two main<br />

areas: (1) the actual actions your body makes, and (2) how your body<br />

feels. Let’s face it, if you feel horrible, you aren’t going to be expressing<br />

your authentic authority and in turn you won’t own the room.<br />

What are the areas of your personal wellness that are holding you back?<br />

Are you too stressed out? Not getting enough sleep? Eating junk food<br />

because it is quick and readily available? Caffeine-overload everyday?<br />

Just like with your Heart, your Body must be clean, so that you can<br />

make the strongest impact possible on your marketplace.<br />

The second part of your body language is the actual action your body<br />

makes. Now, we can’t lie through our body language, but we must be<br />

aware of mimicking. Mimicking occurs naturally especially when we<br />

are trying to relate to somebody. It is a very effective tool when dealing<br />

with negotiations or tense situations, but when it comes to owning the<br />

room and your marketplace, it is the wrong move to make.<br />

So when you want to really own the room and show everyone why you<br />

are the best at what you do, make sure to stay clear in your heart about<br />

your “whys.” You must be aware of your actions. Are you folding your<br />

arms across your chest? Why? Do you feel insecure and are trying to<br />

tell people to back off? Or are you mimicking the people around you?<br />

Either way, stay present and connected to what makes you completely<br />

unique and authentic.<br />

When you come from your genuine place of service, you will always<br />

reflect the most powerful representation of yourself every time. In turn,<br />

you will naturally attract your ideal clients to you instantly, and you<br />

will own the room.<br />

Step 3: Face<br />

What do you do when you want to know if someone is lying to you or<br />

not? You look at their face. Facial expressions are closely connected to<br />

our feelings and our hearts. What I have learned over the last eleven<br />
