activity and momentum creates results.<br />

The fall from taking action is much less painful than the danger of<br />

inactivity. Movement is essential to ensuring that you never feel like<br />

your get-up-and-go just got-up-and-left! There are those people that<br />

make things happen, some that watch things happen and still others that<br />

wonder what happened? Which one are you?<br />

Leaders lead. Do something. You can always clean up the mess later.<br />

Stand on principle, walk in confidence, run on adrenaline and think<br />

outside the box! Get ready…Get set…Go!<br />

6. exUde energy<br />

Enthusiasm is internally uplifting and externally appealing. It actually<br />

takes fewer muscles to smile than it does to frown! No matter how<br />

good-looking somebody may be, …they’re even more attractive with<br />

a “shot” of charisma! Granted, it’s not always easy to be upbeat all the<br />

time – but it beats the alternative!<br />

THINK in the when versus if tense, anticipating that great things will<br />

happen, SPEAK in positive phrases; for example, “the good thing is…”<br />

or “this is great because…”, and MOVE at a pace faster than complacency<br />

can catch you.<br />

It’s my opinion that too much sleep makes us tired! I’d rather go to<br />

bed late, wake up early and catch-up on all that missed sleep when I’m<br />

permanently laid to rest. After all, what else will there be to do at “six<br />

feet under?”<br />

Energy is the gear that turns a bicycle into a motorcycle. Being vivacious<br />

fuels our dream, “tunes up” our attitude, jump-starts our actions<br />

and ultimately drives our accomplishments. Many years ago, someone<br />

rudely asked me, “Doesn’t your bubble ever burst?” I was so hurt by<br />

such a malicious comment until I realized that it was actually a huge<br />

compliment! So Steve, if I didn’t say it before, “...thank you!”<br />

A personal objective of mine is to make others feel better about themselves<br />

after I’ve spoken with them. I believe that people don’t care how<br />

much we know until they know how much we care, AND, that when<br />
