INDUSTRIA TABACALERA COSTARRICENSE La Industria Tabacalera Costarricense se ocupa del proceso del tabaco y a la alaboraci6ti de cigarrillo. La industria cuenta con una caldera de 200 y dos de 300 HP todas Cleaver Brooks. La generaci6n de calor nominal se da en el orden de 8 369 000 Kj/hr para la caldera de 200 HP y de 12,6 y 106 KJ /hrp-.ra las de 300 HP. ]a presi6n de trabajo es de 8.5 Kgr/cm 2 para las de 300 HP (ubicadas en San Antonio de Belan) y de 9.2 Kgr/cm 2 para la de 200 HP (ubicada en Zapote). Los modelos de la caldera son CB 655-200 y CB 600-300 para las dos de 300 HP. Las tres son igneotubulares y el combustible utill zeJo es bunker a razon de 132 litros por hora para ia caldera de 200 HP y de 151 litros por hora para las de 300 HP, trabajando 8 horas por dra la de. 200 HP y 9 horas" por dia 'as de 300 HP, trabajo cortinuo durante 240 dTas a] afio para ]a de 200 HPy 35 dfas para las 300 HP. Las calderas de 300 HP se alternan d~a con dTa, ]as calderas son Igneotubulares y se utilizan para c, lentamiento y secado del tabaco, Las posibilidades de sustituci6n, desde un punto ae vista ftsico, son mayores pare las calderas de San Antonio de Belen, que para la de Zapote. N4o se tiene opinion sobre ]a disposicl6n de los duefics de la e.presa en una po sible sustituci6n.
