Das DFG-Projekt Informationssystem Graffiti in
Deutschland (INGRID), eine Kooperation der
Universität Paderborn und des Karlsruher
Instituts für Technologie (KIT), lud ein zum
Nutzer*innen-Workshop Discover Graffiti mit
INGRID. INGRID gehört zu den größten frei
zugänglichen Graffiti-Bilddatenbanken. Der
Workshop bot in vier Hands-On-Sessions Einblicke
in die vielfältigen Nutzungs- und Partizipationsmöglichkeiten
von INGRID. Er richtete
sich an alle Graffiti-Interessierten sowie an
verwandte Projekte, die kulturelle Schriftund
Bildzeugnisse dokumentieren und zugänglich
machen.

Angesichts des Krieges Russlands in der Ukraine
zielt das Symposium auf die Identifikation
partnerschaftlicher und niederschwelliger
Ankerprojekte für die interdisziplinäre
postsowjetische Stadtforschung, welche diese
stärken und Möglichkeiten des Forschungsdialogs
im post-sowjetischen Raum und in EU-Europa neu
ausloten und erproben.

Exchange with academics and architects in
Vilnius. Insights into the Lithuanian experience
of dealing with questions of valorization
and management of residential heritage, as well
as to explore best practices in the regeneration
and renovation of such districts. In this
sense, the dissonance of residential heritage
refers to the contradictions and conflicts
inherent to the process of creating meaning in
specific political and social contexts, and
their reflection into practice.

KUNSTGESCHICHTE
Das Informationssystem Graffiti in Deutschland
(INGRID) enthält ca. 150.000 Fotos von den
frühen 1980er-Jahren, als die Graffiti-Bewegung
von den USA ausgehend Europa erfasste, bis
heute. Die Ausstellung zeigte Beispiele aus
diesen Beständen.

Die Ausstellung der Professur Gebäudelehre
zeigte während der Pandemie entstandene
Entwürfe, Seminar- und Forschungsarbeiten.

ARCHITECTURAL BIASES
In 2016 R+E initiated R+EFERENCE ARCHIVE, a
continuously growing database of built architectural
references intended as a support
for research and teaching. The archive, based
on student work, shows a collection of buildings
through model photos that can be navigated
three-dimensionally as well as plan sets
for download. The selection of the reference
projects reflects personal interests of the
R+E team.
The exhibition Architectural Biases was
a reflection upon the project choices that the
online archive embodies. What does the selection
of references reveal in terms of our
personal architectural biases as well as in
relation to the biases of architectural
education at large?
R+EFERENCE ARCHIVE was initiated by Marc
Frohn. It was developed by Marc Frohn and Tim
Panzer and is currently headed by Irene
Gazzillo.
