+FRH, Receive DATA with HDLC Frame
This command causes the H24 to receive HDLC framed data using the modulation mode selected
in , and deliver the next received frame to the terminal.
If the H24 detects the selected carrier with an HDLC flag, the H24 send the CONNECT result
code to the terminal, otherwise it sends "NO CARRIER".
The H24 sends the FCS octant to the terminal. The terminal may ignore the FCS.
Upon receipt of the CONNECT from H24, the terminal can start receiving the data stream using
the transparent data command decoding. (Refer to “Command Modulation Select Codes -
Modulation Parameters” on page 3-61).
After the FCS octets are transferred, the H24 marks the end of the frame with the characters
, and reports the status of the frame reception to the terminal, as follows:
• If the frame was received correctly (FCS is OK), the H24 returns the OK result code.
• If the frame was received in error (FCS is not OK, or carrier lost, or data lost due to data
overflow), the H24 returns the ERROR result code, and the terminal should discard the
frame.
After the status result code, the H24 accepts new commands from the terminal.
