+MIPSEND, Add Data to Socket<br />

This command sends data from the terminal to the module and causes the module to accumulate<br />

the data in the socket. The data will be automatically sent to Network once, when accumulated<br />

data reaches the predefined watermark or timeout occurs (see “+MIPSETS, Set Watermark and<br />

Timeout for Automatic Push” on page 3-325).<br />

Motorola recommends to set the watermark prior to +MIPSEND command usage.<br />

Note: 1 ) Data in the Set command is limited to 160 ASCII characters (encoded), see MIP<br />

<strong>Commands</strong> Using Cases / Data Encoding for more description.<br />

2 ) The Set command returns an ERROR indication when the command process fails (see<br />

Table 3-218). ErrorCode is returned when numeric/verbose responses mode is enabled.<br />

3 ) The Read command returns a report for all active sockets.<br />
