Description<br />

The IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) number is composed of<br />

15 digits, as specified by 3GPP TS 23.003 [3]. IMEI numbers are composed of the<br />

following elements, all in decimal digits:<br />

Type Approval Code (TAC) - 8 digits<br />

Serial Number (SNR) - 6 digits<br />

Spare digit - 1 digit<br />

The TAC and SNR are protected against unauthorized changes.<br />

+CSCS, Select Terminal Character Set<br />

This command selects the H24 character set. The H24 supports the following character sets: IRA,<br />

GSM, and UCS2.<br />

The default value, set upon system initialization or when omitting in set command, is<br />

IRA.<br />
