Improved OEM Features<br />

Another high volume data service application is FTP (File Transfer protocol), although data is<br />

sent in the “Background”. H24 supports embedded internal IP stack.<br />

The HSDPA is used for application that utilize heavy downlink data rate such as YouTube,<br />

Multimedia application, FOTA and more.<br />

Simultaneous Voice and Packet Data<br />

H24, as a 3.5G device, supports simultaneous services. This means that between Network and<br />

H24 there is a pipe that is composed of multi channels that forward data and/or voice at the same<br />

time.<br />

This way H24 is able to simultaneously forward a file; receive a voice call, handle SMS and also<br />

browse the internet. Performance is derived from throughputs provided by the network.<br />

USB 2.0 Device<br />

The main connection channel between H24 and Host is done utilizing USB 2.0 physical interface.<br />

H24, by its nature, is the USB device and the Terminal is the USB host.<br />

At startup, H24 is enumerated with terminal as a Motorola device. It also supports mass storage<br />

functionality.<br />

H24 supports multi-channeling over USB for <strong>AT</strong> commands and Data connectivity. More<br />

information can be found in the “connectivity” section.<br />

USB 2.0, called High Speed USB, supports bandwidth up to 480 Mbit/s baud-rate. Also see‘H24<br />

SIM/USIM<br />

H24 supports USIM, In addition, it supports also SIM for GSM 2G networks.<br />

Audio<br />

Overview<br />

The audio (digital and analog) feature in the H24 module involves three main issues: path<br />

(routing of the audio through the different devices), gain and other calibrations. For more<br />
