Antenna Physical Connection Detection
This feature allows the user to get the antenna's physical connection status
(connected/disconnected/grounded) using the ATS97 command. The result depends on the type
of antenna used. Therefore, in order to get the correct connection status, the antenna type should
be determined using the AT+MUANTYPE command. Setting the right antenna type is the user's
responsibility. An accessory command is provided to assist the user to identify the type of antenna
connected, AT+MUANTYPEDET. Of course, before using this command, the user must verify
that the antenna is intact and properly connected.
+MUANTYPEDET, Detect User Antenna Type
This command allows recognizing the attached antenna type. This command should only be used
when the antenna is connected and intact, otherwise it may result a false answer.
Three recognizable antenna types are available:
• Type 0: Infinite Impedance Type - IIT (Active resistance is > 3.1 MOhm).
• Type 1: Medium Impedance Type - MIT ( 6.8 KOhm < Active resistance is < 3.1 MOhm).
• Type 2: Zero Impedance Type - ZIT (Active resistance is < 6.8 KOhm).
