Description<br />

Functionality levels:<br />

0 Minimum functionality - Disables SIM card, disables phone<br />

transmit & receive RF circuits.<br />

1 Full functionality (default)<br />

4 Disables phone transmit & receive RF circuits (SIM card is enabled)<br />

0 Sets functionality to without resetting the device (default)<br />

1 Resets the device before setting functionality to <br />

Note: 1. When required functionality cannot be realized, restart will not be performed even<br />

if required.<br />

2. Default functionality is a full, without restart i.e. RF operation and SIM card are<br />

allowed.<br />

When functionality is not specified, the default values shall be used.<br />

So, <strong>AT</strong>+CFUN without parameters causes set the full functionality without<br />

restart.<br />

3. Functionality on unit initialization<br />

Initialization can take place in two relevant modes, regarding functionality.<br />

1. After the unit powered up from ON_N line or IGNITION,<br />

2. Any kind of restarting - SW reset (<strong>AT</strong>+MRST or CFUN=).<br />

In case of initialization by ON_N or ignition (init mode 1) unit will always be up with the<br />

default functionality.<br />

In case of initialization mode 2, the unit will start with the same functionality as it was set<br />

before restarting.<br />

Examples<br />

<strong>AT</strong>+CFUN=?<br />

+CFUN: (0-1, 4), (0-1)<br />

OK<br />

<strong>AT</strong>+CFUN?<br />

+CFUN: 1<br />

OK<br />

<strong>AT</strong>+CFUN=4<br />
