The following table shows the +CFUN parameters.

Description
Functionality levels:
0 Minimum functionality - Disables SIM card, disables phone
transmit & receive RF circuits.
1 Full functionality (default)
4 Disables phone transmit & receive RF circuits (SIM card is enabled)
0 Sets functionality to without resetting the device (default)
1 Resets the device before setting functionality to
Note: 1. When required functionality cannot be realized, restart will not be performed even
if required.
2. Default functionality is a full, without restart i.e. RF operation and SIM card are
allowed.
When functionality is not specified, the default values shall be used.
So, AT+CFUN without parameters causes set the full functionality without
restart.
3. Functionality on unit initialization
Initialization can take place in two relevant modes, regarding functionality.
1. After the unit powered up from ON_N line or IGNITION,
2. Any kind of restarting - SW reset (AT+MRST or CFUN=).
In case of initialization by ON_N or ignition (init mode 1) unit will always be up with the
default functionality.
In case of initialization mode 2, the unit will start with the same functionality as it was set
before restarting.
