+MBAND, RF Band Selection
This command configures the RF bands that the unit will use for communicating with the
Network.
For each model of the H24, initial setting will be entered at the RF phasing stage in the factory to
determine the unit bands that will be scanned.
+MBAND command enabling the user to select any subset of the factory phased set of bands to
scan and to register with them to the network.
The factory phased set of bands is called default bands.
The Motorola Band Selection command (+MBAND) allows controlling of the Bands scan
process.
MBAND will provide the user with the capability to select subset bands on which H24 will
perform the network scanning.
This may help the user reducing scanning time.
There are 2 parameters for bands selection:
• GSM Bands.
• WCDMA Bands.
+MBAND settings will take affect upon the next power-up.
