+MBAND, RF Band Selection<br />

This command configures the RF bands that the unit will use for communicating with the<br />

Network.<br />

For each model of the H24, initial setting will be entered at the RF phasing stage in the factory to<br />

determine the unit bands that will be scanned.<br />

+MBAND command enabling the user to select any subset of the factory phased set of bands to<br />

scan and to register with them to the network.<br />

The factory phased set of bands is called default bands.<br />

The Motorola Band Selection command (+MBAND) allows controlling of the Bands scan<br />

process.<br />

MBAND will provide the user with the capability to select subset bands on which H24 will<br />

perform the network scanning.<br />

This may help the user reducing scanning time.<br />

There are 2 parameters for bands selection:<br />

• GSM Bands.<br />

• WCDMA Bands.<br />

+MBAND settings will take affect upon the next power-up.<br />
