The following table shows the +MGPSPROTOCOL parameters.

0 - No plane (default)
1 - Control plane
2 - User plane
3 - User plane and Control plane

User Plane Protocol Specific Configurations
When using user plane protocol, the following parameters are required for UPL/SUPL (Secure
User Plane) configuration:
1. PDE secure connection certificate.
2. Set Protocol Plane to "User Plane" or "User Plane & Control Plane" (See
“+MGPSPROTOCOL, Positioning Assisted Protocol Configuration”).
3. Set GPS Operation Mode to "MS Based" or "MS Assisted" (see See “+MGPSMODE,
Positioning Mode Configuration”).
4. Set user plane server parameters:
• PDP context to communicate with PDE (define through See “+CGDCONT, Define PDP
Context”).
• PDE (position determination entity) URL.
• PDE port id.
+MGPSURL, Set User Plane Server Parameters
This command sets the URL and port of the PDE server and PDP context parameters.
The setting is saved through power cycle.
