User Plane Protocol Specific Configurations<br />

When using user plane protocol, the following parameters are required for UPL/SUPL (Secure<br />

User Plane) configuration:<br />

1. PDE secure connection certificate.<br />

2. Set Protocol Plane to "User Plane" or "User Plane & Control Plane" (See<br />

“+MGPSPROTOCOL, Positioning Assisted Protocol Configuration”).<br />

3. Set GPS Operation Mode to "MS Based" or "MS Assisted" (see See “+MGPSMODE,<br />

Positioning Mode Configuration”).<br />

4. Set user plane server parameters:<br />

• PDP context to communicate with PDE (define through See “+CGDCONT, Define PDP<br />

Context”).<br />

• PDE (position determination entity) URL.<br />

• PDE port id.<br />

+MGPSURL, Set User Plane Server Parameters<br />

This command sets the URL and port of the PDE server and PDP context parameters.<br />

The setting is saved through power cycle.<br />
