GPRS/EDGE/UMTS +MPINGSTAT, Status Update for +MPING Execution This is the unsolicited response that the H24 sends to the terminal to inform of ping execution status update and provides summary statistics of ping request when ping request execution is completed. Command Type Syntax Response/Action Remarks Unsolicited Response +MPINGSTAT:[,,, [,]] The unsolicited response that the H24 sends to the terminal to inform it with ping execution status update. This response also provides a statistics summary of ping request when ping request execution is completed. The following table shows the +MPINGSTAT unsolicited response parameters. Table 3-214: +MPINGSTAT Unsolicited Response Parameters Description Specifies the status of a ping request execution. Defined values: 0 - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE upon completion of ping request or as a result of AT+MPING=0. 1 - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE if no ICMP reply message was received within timeout. DSAT_CME_MEMORY_FAILURE - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE for memory errors. DSAT_CME_SUPS_RETRY_OPERATION - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE for a temporary error. DSAT_CME_MSG_SIZE_TOO_LONG - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE if the ping message size was too large. DSAT_CME_HOST_NOT_FOUND - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE if the destination address was not found or malformed. DSAT_CME_PING_FAILURE - The unsolicited response with this will be sent to DTE all other errors. Specifies the target machine (computer) for ping request, which is identified by IP address 4 octets long in dotted decimal notation. Specifies a total number of received Echo Reply messages corresponding to Echo Request messages. Specifies average Round Trip Time (RTT) for this ping request. This value will be reported if and only if value is greater than zero. Calculation of this value comprises of accumulating all RTT values and dividing total accumulated RTT by value. Only an integral part of a result will be reported and any digits of a fraction part will be truncated.
