The following table shows the command's parameters and returned results.
Table 3-199: +MIPOPEN Parameters

CallID
Socket ID
Source Port
Remote IP
Description
A unique number that identifies a call in 1-2 range.
A unique number that identifies a socket in 1-20 range.
Port of source site in 1-65535 range.
IP: IP address (in IPv4 format) of remote site.
When IPV4 address standard is used, the IP address format consists of 4 octets,
separated by decimal point: "AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD". The range of each octet is
0-255. Value can be written in 1, 2, or 3 digits.
Host name: of remote site. The host name convention should meet the rules as
described in RFC-1035 section: 2.3 Conventions. Syntax is not validated, except for
the maximum length (255 characters).
Remote Port Port of remote site in 1-65535 range for outgoing connection 1 .
Port 0 reserved for incoming connection (listen mode opened socket).
Socket Type
Type of socket. The module supports the following socket types:
0 - TCP unsecured
1 - UDP
2 - TCP secured (SSL based) 2
SocketStatus
TransferDataM
ode
PseudoComma
ndMode
0 - inactive socket
1 - non-secured socket active
2 - secured socket active
0 - Text Mode (Default)
1 - Online Data Mode
0 - Enable (Default)
1 - Disable
Note: 1 ) Motorola does not recommend using port numbers below 1024. These numbers are
defined to be reserved for operating systems.
2 ) Secured (SSL - based) connection is not supported for sockets, opened in listen mode.
Currently, the number of parallel SSL Sessions is limited to 2.
Number of simultaneously opened listen sockets is limited and depend to number of inactive TCP
sockets. When no active TCP sockets are open, max. number of simultaneously opened listen
sockets is 10 (max. number of inactive TCP sockets / 2). When one active TCP socket is opened,
a number of inactive TCP sockets is reduced to 19 and the module gives an opportunity to open
only 9 listen sockets simultaneously. When two active sockets are opened, the number of
simultaneously opened listen sockets remains same (9), but three opened active sockets compel
the module to reduce the number of simultaneously opened listen sockets to 8, etc.
