Call Control<br />

If a D<strong>AT</strong>A/FAX call was originated and answered by the remote side, a "CONNECT" notification<br />

is sent to the terminal from the device, and it moves to the online Data/Fax state.<br />

Note 1:If there is an active voice call and the terminal sends another <strong>AT</strong>D voice call command<br />

to the device, the active call is put on hold and the new number is called.<br />

Note 2:Dialing a fax call is possible under two conditions, first the correct bearer service has to<br />

be set, see +CBST command. The second condition is that the R<strong>AT</strong> has to be GSM; fax<br />

is not supported in WCDMA R<strong>AT</strong>. In order to manually switch to GSM R<strong>AT</strong> the +COPS<br />

command should be used.<br />

The format of the command is provided below:<br />

1. Connection Failure - NO CARRIER or BUSY or NO ANSWER<br />

2. General Failure - ERROR<br />

3. Security reason (such as SIM not present) - OPER<strong>AT</strong>ION NOT<br />

ALLOWED<br />
