The mesh generation of the model was shown in Figure 3 using plain strain nodes. The<br />

solid domain was meshed using very fine meshes to let us have valid results.<br />

We have used COMSOL software to perform the simulations for the modeling of blood<br />

thorough the valve during opening-closure of the leaflets. The problem is a fluid<br />

structure interaction which has been solved using segregated solver. The number of<br />

iteration was 100 with 0.001 errors.<br />

4. RESULTS<br />

The velocity profiles in rest and exercise condition<br />

was shown in Figure 4. The results<br />

have been compared to Doppler-Echocardiography<br />

ones in Figure 5.<br />
