Regard<strong>in</strong>g the composition, some differences can also be observed. One notable trend appears: fruits and<br />

veg<strong>et</strong>ables consumption is closely correlated with organic product purchases. As for Dairies, Meat, fish and<br />

eggs, and Ready-made meals purchases, they slightly decrease while the organic product purchases <strong>in</strong>creases.<br />

3.2. Emission of GHG per kg of product overview<br />

Emissions of GHG per kg of product (carbon footpr<strong>in</strong>ts) used <strong>in</strong> this study come from publications or<br />

<strong>LCA</strong> performed dur<strong>in</strong>g this project, reconstruction via simplified <strong>LCA</strong> or approximations as expla<strong>in</strong>ed before.<br />

Table 12 d<strong>et</strong>ails the orig<strong>in</strong>s of the selected values, and their respective shares of bask<strong>et</strong> mass and impact<br />

for French average consumers. If <strong>LCA</strong>s (exhaustive or simplified) cover the half of the products, they encompass<br />

more than 2/3rd of the global footpr<strong>in</strong>t either because of their significant amounts or because of<br />

their high environmental burdens, are covered.<br />
