was chosen. Note that even at WPY=0 will any fishery impose theoretical damage to the ecosystem. For
management purpose and minimisation of model uncertainty, we subdivided WPY into two “sub impact
categories”: F-Overfishing (current rate of on-going overexploitation, for clarity added with an “F” for fishing
mortality) and B-Overfishedness (current state of stock, for clarity added with a ”B” for biomass). Both
complementing categories are expressed in relation to their corresponding optimal value in a MSY framework
(Table 1).
