Commissioning<br />

TopCon TC.GSS power supplies are prepared so that they can be<br />

installed, wired and interference suppressed in accordance with the<br />

applicable regulations with as little effort as possible. Nevertheless, the<br />

responsibility for the compliance of systems and machines with built-in<br />

TopCon TC.GSS power supplies remains with the manufacturer of the<br />

system or machine.<br />

On the usage of the electrical power supply in certain application areas,<br />

the related applicable standards and health and safety regulations are<br />

to be followed.<br />

6.2.2. Safety information<br />

WARNING<br />

Possible mortal danger due to electric shock!<br />

Avoidance:<br />

Never connect or disconnect electrical connections while they<br />

are live.<br />

Do not open the device if it is in operation, as it contains live<br />

parts.<br />

Lay cables carrying high currents using an adequate cable<br />

cross-section.<br />

Wait min. 15 minutes!<br />

In the devices built-in there can be dangerous voltages after<br />

switching off the mains voltage, as well as in case of<br />

loads that store energy.<br />

Only use the devices for the intended application and type of<br />

load.<br />

In particular, the mains voltage and load must match the information<br />

on the type plate, as well as the settings on the device.<br />

Protection against touching the output current bars!<br />

E.g. by fitting a suitable case.<br />
