7.3.5.3. Error during operation<br />

Troubleshooting using the HMI<br />

Warning group and Error group – DISPLAY 26/27<br />

The errors that occur during operation are indicated both in the message<br />

bar on the main screen and on the Error group menu – DISPLAY.<br />

A differentiation is to be made between descriptions for group errors<br />

and detail errors. Detail errors are combined into a group error. Only the<br />

group error appears in the message bar, the detail errors can be<br />

checked on the menu.<br />

see chapter 10.2, Seite 275.<br />

The communication errors listed in the following table are initially displayed<br />

in a separate window. After the selection knob or is<br />

pressed, the separate window disappears and the message Communication<br />

Error appears in the message bar on the main menu. The electrical<br />

power supply changes to the Error operating state.<br />

Error Reason and correction<br />

CAN controller error The CAN controller is in the Bus-Off state.<br />

No data received by HMI The HMI or RCU is not receiving any data.<br />

Check the connection of the connection cable<br />

between power supply and RCU<br />

CANTERM terminating resistor present on the<br />

end of the CAN bus?<br />

In the TopControl application error lists can be further broken down.<br />

The error list can also be cleared using the TopControl command “Clear<br />

Errors”.<br />

7.3.5.4. Warnings during operation<br />

The warnings that occur during operation are indicated both in the message<br />

bar on the main screen and on the Warning group menu. A differentiation<br />

is to be made between descriptions for group warnings and<br />

detail warnings. Detail warnings are combined into a group warning.<br />

Only the group warning appears in the message bar, the detail warnings<br />

can be checked on the menu.<br />
