Operating modes
Feeding and regenerative operation
The following cases are defined by the properties of the load connected and
the operating mode:
Actual value ≤ reference value:
Depending on which control difference is smaller the following
occurs:
Voltage control cv with a ULoad limit at UREF or
current control cc with an ILoad limit at IREF or
power control cp with a PLoad limit at PREF
Actual value > reference value:
The control does not allow the reference value to be exceeded.
For example, the voltage control attempts to maintain
ULoad =UREF. During this process the load current ILoad can also
be negative until the current limit ILimitQ4=-Imax or the power limit
PLimitQ4=-Pmax is reached. Change from Q1 to Q4 operation.
Q4 operation: example case for load voltage UL with reactive
loads:
At IL = ILimitQ4, the current control starts to limit, during this process UL increases.
If UL ≤ UNom the current control cc remains with ILimitQ4 as the limit.
If UL >UNom voltage control cv with the device safety
limit Umax =1.1*UNom.
If Umax is reached, the device switches off for safety reasons.
