Compliance with the design data for the specific system is a prerequisite
for malfunction-free operation.
Load systems can have significant effects on the power source.
The following points are to be noted:
1. The maximum voltage specified is not allowed to be exceeded.
2. Protective measures must be provided against voltage spikes on
the load side and their function must be monitored (voltage
spikes could damage the filter capacitors and semiconductors in
the system).
3. Periodic overcurrents are to be avoided.
4. The DC ripple currents produced on the load side are to be monitored
to avoid overloading filter capacitors; in case of doubt ask
the manufacturer.
The system is always to be operated within the permissible temperature
range. High temperatures will reduce the service life of various modules.
