The influence of gold loading (A) and temperature of calcination (B) on TPR H2profiles for Au/TiO 2 catalysts. Conclusions• The deposition-precipitation method for Au/TiO 2 catalysts leads to much more activecatalysts than impregnation. The poorly active impregnated catalysts can be recoveredby addition of potassium ions.• The 1-10% Au/TiO 2 catalysts appear the most active after drying at 60 ºC. Theincrease of calcination temperature leads to lower activity in CO oxidation.• The increase of calcination temperature results in gradual decomposition and easierreducibility of supported gold oxide phase.AcknowledgementsThe financial support of this work by the Polish Scientific Research Council supports(Grant No. 4T09 146 25) is gratefully acknowledged.453
