OP-I-10part of CPSS was straightforwardly mineralised, sulphur was oxidised from its reduced state.Amino group, generally transformed to ammonia, was partially oxidised to nitrite and nitratein alkaline media. Acetate as a major carbonaceous product mineralised via oxalate andformate intermediates. The fastest degradation of the CPSS was observed under neutral mediaconditions. The optimum concentration of CPSS for PCO within the experimental conditionswas not found: the higher CPSS concentration the faster its photocatalytic degradation.The findings described above are not final: the co-operation between BIC and LUT isunder further development.
