2 SUPPORT SERVICESBoth self referral <strong>and</strong> supervisor referral are encouraged, while maintaining the voluntary <strong>and</strong>confidential nature <strong>of</strong> the program. There is no need for the staff member to advise anyone or askfor approval for the counselling. Staff are encouraged to attend counselling outside work hours <strong>and</strong>may be provided with up to six hours <strong>of</strong> free counselling sessions over a two year period.To access the EAP, staff should contact one <strong>of</strong> the following providers:• Davidson Trahaire Corpsych on 1300 360 364; or• IPS Worldwide on 1300 366 789.2.2.4 FURTHER INFORMATIONInformation about the EAP is provided on the <strong>Department</strong>’s OHS website. This commitment is documented withinthe <strong>Department</strong>’s Workplace Health <strong>and</strong> Injury Management Policy.Roles <strong>and</strong> responsibilities for principals, staff <strong>and</strong> other persons in relation to return to work aredocumented in the <strong>Department</strong>’s Return to Work Program for Work Related Injuries policy.
