been taken into account in the design of the harbour
and its main access roads (Vellinga and Jong, 2012).

protect the harbour (Hamburg, 2013). The research
project MOWE-IT included a review of operations in
the case of extreme weather events in the ports of
Limassol (Cyprus) and Southampton (UK) and the
National Grid Grain LNG terminal in London (Golikov
et al., 2014).
