Petals oblong-Ianceolate. Lip base saccate, limb obcordate, truncate<br />

sheaths ampliate mucronate, puncticulate. Leaves narrow ellipticlanceolate<br />

pairs; pedicels slender. Sepals lanceolate acute. Lip spathulate,<br />

tip thickened acute. Hab. Very rare. Perak, Thaiping Hills at<br />

5000 ft. altitude (Ridley).<br />

Ovary and pedicel pubescent. Sepals ovate acute. Petals lanceolate.<br />

Lip ovate-Ianceolate, base pubescent, yellowish in centre,<br />

clawed. Column arms thick, round. Hab. On lofty trees in forests.<br />

lohor, Batu Pahat. Pahang, Pekan. Selangor, Ginting Peras;<br />

Kajang. Perak, Thaiping Hills (Kunstler). Penang, West Hill.<br />

Distrib. Borneo, Celebes, Philippines.<br />

Terrestrial, rhizome creeping; pseudobulbs cylindric-conic with<br />

one herbaceous petiolate leaf. Scape usually .... tall from rhizome,<br />

raceme lax. Sepals and petals sub-similar, but lateral sepals<br />

falcate. Lip 3-lobed adnate to short column foot, no spur. Column<br />

tall arched, foot very short, arms linear-oblong from middle of the<br />

column. Anther z-celled. Pollinia z. Species 8, Indo-Malayan,<br />

Polynesia.<br />
