Leaves obovate-Ianceolate or elliptic acute, 4 to 9 in. long,<br />

lanceolate blunt, yellow with or without a red bar, laterals oblique<br />
with a transverse red bar, or all red at base, tip yellow. Petals<br />
spathulate or obovate. Lip side-lobes oblong truncate toothed white,<br />
midlobe obovate, tip round orange, central bar white elevate, 3 or<br />
more Indian red streaks on each side, callus bifid at base. Column<br />
narrowed, middle greenish, hood ovate. Hab. On trees. Johor,<br />

midlobe 3-lobed. Column short thick, arms erect. Anther ovate,<br />
beaked. Pollinia 2 on a spathulate caudicle, disc elliptic. Species I,<br />

erect, obovate, midlobe obcordate, base of lip adnate to foot<br />
of column and forming a mentum. Species about 5, Indo-Malaya.
