claw short, obscurely 3-lobed. Hab. Mountains at high altitudes.<br />

Rhizome 6 in. long, woody; pseudobulbs elongate cylindric,<br />

2 in. long. Leaves linear narrowed at top and long narrowed at<br />

base, 9 in. long, '25 in. wide. Scapes 4 to 5 in. long. Flowers<br />

many distichous small whIte. Bracts '12 in. long. Ovary and<br />

pedicel '1 in. long. Upper sepal lanceolate, lower gibbous at base<br />

keeled. Petals oblong or ovate-oblong. Lip, base cymbiform with<br />

short blunt lobes, midlobe sub-orbicular crisp, obscurely 3-lobed,<br />

with 2 semi-linear fleshy ridges between side lobes. Column short,<br />

and broad, arms tooth-like. Hab. High mountains. Pahang,<br />

Gunong Tahan at 7IOO ft. altitude; Gunong DIu Riang at 6000 ft.<br />

altitude (Ridley).<br />

Rhizome thick; pseudobulbs cylindric or ovoid, I to 1'5 in.<br />

long. Leaves elliptic-Ianceolate acute, 1'5 to 3 in. long, '5 in.<br />

wide or more. Scape slender flexuous, 5 in. long. Bracts lanceolate.<br />

F,lowers 'I2 in. wide, about. 35. Sepals ovate or ovateoblong<br />

acute. Petals smaller, all greenish pink turning pink.<br />

Lip boat-shaped, limb ovate, greenish white yellow with one or a<br />

double callus on centre, a raw sienna line in front. Column red.<br />
