entire fiat, tip broad, white, edge at base and some blotches crimson,<br />
a broad raised ridge from base, Z short blunt ones in centre. Column<br />
broad stout green spotted pink. Hab. In forests, sporadic and<br />
uncommon up to 3500 ft. altitude. Malacca, Bukit Sadanen<br />

Large epiphyte with big ovoid pseudobulbs, 3 to 5 in. long.<br />
Leaves z, oblong blunt thick coriaceous, 8 in. long, 4 in. wide.<br />

Bracts widely triangular. Sepals ovate-oblong acummate yellowish<br />
densely spotted in lines with chocolate. Petals falcate chocolate.<br />

petals similar, spreading. Lip adnate to column base, side-lobes<br />
small. Column short broad, wings large. Anther small. Pollinia<br />
2, caudicles 2 linear, disc round. Species 6, Malaya, Australia,<br />
Polynesia.<br />
