Corolla-tube '25 in. long, pubescent, lobes boat-shaped violet.<br />

Staminodes shorter and broader. Lip narrow oblong bilobed.<br />

Stamen filament '5 in. long; anther-spurs 2 linear acuminate deflexed.<br />

All orange. Hab. By stream banks. Pahang, Telom<br />

(Ridley). Selangor, Menuang Gasing (Kloss) (sheaths red-spotted).<br />

2 teeth longer than third. Corolla-tube'5 in. long. lobes boatshaped,<br />

'25 in. long, white. Staminodes narrower oblong. Lip<br />

short oblong usually with purple central spot. Stamen filament<br />

1 in. long; anther cordate, spurs 2, slender subulate. Ovary white<br />

pubescent. Capsule '5 in. long. Bab. In woods. Singapore,<br />

Bukit Timah (abundant) ; Bidadari. Johor, Tana Runto;<br />

Forms with the leaves on flowering stems suppressed occur. I think the<br />

type specimen of G. stenothyrsa var. Cl4mingn Bak. from Malacca, Cuming<br />

is young G. le14cantha.
