Leaf orbicular-cordate plicate, velvety both sides, purple, paler<br />

tall, with I or 2 flowers. Sepals and petals very narrow lanceolatelinear<br />

acuminate, quite acute. Lip shorter spathulate, white<br />

veined pink. Hab. Penang Hill, Mount Erskine, near the bungalow.<br />

Dzstrib. Tenasserim and Siam.<br />

Ovary '5 in. long, purple. Sepals and petals narrow linear acuminate,<br />

pinkish spotted darker. Lip 3-lobed, white spotted violet,<br />

side-lobes short, midlobe lanceolate. Column long with thin wings,<br />

narrowed downward and ovate acuminate arms pointing downwards.<br />

Very small tuberous herbs with I orbicular or ovate leaf and<br />

I large flower. Dorsal sepal cucullate curved, laterals and petals,<br />

when present, filiform. Lip large, base tubular erect with a broad<br />

recurved limb. Column short stout; stigma broad. Rostellum<br />

short. Anther 2-celled reniform or ovoid. Pollinia 2 elliptic.<br />

Capsule erect elliptic on a long-lengthened pedicel. Species about<br />

20, Indo-Malaya, Australia.<br />

recurved with tubular base, edge of limb toothed. Capsule elliptic.<br />

Hab. Mountains in moss at about 4000 ft. altitude. Pahang,
