side-lobes blunt, midlobe ovate acute hairy, white with green

Leaf orbicular-cordate plicate, velvety both sides, purple, paler
beneath, 5 to 6 in. wide; petiole short, '5 in. long. Scape 3 to 5 in.
tall, with I or 2 flowers. Sepals and petals very narrow lanceolatelinear
acuminate, quite acute. Lip shorter spathulate, white
veined pink. Hab. Penang Hill, Mount Erskine, near the bungalow.
Dzstrib. Tenasserim and Siam.

pinkish spotted darker. Lip 3-lobed, white spotted violet,
side-lobes short, midlobe lanceolate. Column long with thin wings,
narrowed downward and ovate acuminate arms pointing downwards.

Very small tuberous herbs with I orbicular or ovate leaf and
I large flower. Dorsal sepal cucullate curved, laterals and petals,
when present, filiform. Lip large, base tubular erect with a broad
recurved limb. Column short stout; stigma broad. Rostellum
short. Anther 2-celled reniform or ovoid. Pollinia 2 elliptic.
Capsule erect elliptic on a long-lengthened pedicel. Species about
20, Indo-Malaya, Australia.
