Rhizome long creeping. Leaves 2 or 3 in a tuft, lanceolate
inrequilateral acute or blunt pubescent beneath, 6 to 7 in. long,
1'5 in. wide; petioles 3 to 4 in. long, pubescent. Scape central,
"5 to 9 in. long. Bracts spiral ligulate blunt distant pubescent
green, sheaths red, I in. long, 'S in. wide. Flowers white, fragrant.
Corolla tube I in. long, lobes oblong-Ianceolate, '5 in. long, as are
staminodes. Lip obovate undulate bilobed, a central yellow bar.
Anther-crest large orbicular. Hab. Muar, Bukit Muar (Feilding);
Malacca, Mt. Ophir (Cuming, Griffith, etc.).

Rhizome slender. Leaves in pairs lanceolate acuminate acute
inrequilateral, 7 to 8 in. long, 2 in. wide; petiole 5 in. long. Spike
central, 3 in. long. Bracts 5 or 6, oblong cuspidate distant, '5 to
I in. long. Flowers in threes, small yellow. Calyx '75 in. long.
Corolla tube I in. long, lobes linear, '25 in. long. Staminodes
oblong round broader. Lip bilobed round, '5 in. long. Anthercrest
cuneate trilobed. Hab. Rare. johor, Kwala Sembrong
(Kelsall). Negri Sembilan, Senaling Forest Reserve (Holttum).

Rhizome moderately stout. Leaves crowded, ovate-Ianceolate
slightly oblique, narrowed at the base, papillose beneath and with
rather long sparse hairs, or glabrous; nerves fine, 6 pairs with
many more slender nervules between; 4 to 6 in. long, 1·75 to 2 in.
wide; petioles 3 to 4·5 in. long; sheaths I to 3 in. long. Racemes
3 to 4'5 in. long, slender hairy. Bracts 5, lanceolate acuminate
narrow, I in. long, hairy distant, 2-flowered. Corolla tube very
slender, I in. long, lobes lanceolate, '3 in. long. Staminodes as
long oblong blunt. All white. Lip broad obcuneate, tip broad
sub-truncate, very shortly bilobed, white with a yellow central
patch. Hab. johor, Pulau Tiuman, Joara Bay (Burkill).

Rhizome slender woody. Leaves paired light green barred
white lanceolate oblique, base narrow blunt, 4 in. long, glabrous;
petioles 1'25 in. long. Bracts linear-Ianceolate narrow, '75 in.
long. Flowers white. Calyx spathaceous. Corolla tube I in. long,
lobes lanceolate, '25 in. long. Staminodes narrower. Lip obcuneate,
'S in. long. Anther-crest broad truncate. Hab. Rare
in forests, Johor, Gunong Pantai (Ridley).
