acuminate. Sepals narrow lanceolate acuminate red. Petals broader<br />

blunt. Lip saccate entire acuminate, a globose tubercle in mouth.<br />

Anther beaked. Rostellum large bifid, lobes semi-ovate. Capsule<br />

Stem tall straggling stout. Leaves oblong blunt bilobed, 4 to<br />

6 in. long, 1'5 in. wide. Panicle much branched purple spotted,<br />

1 ft. long or more, the peduncle stout, nearly 10 in. long, branches<br />

4 in. long or less. Flowers numerous, '5 in. wide. Sepals oblong<br />

blunt. Petals broader sub-spathulate. All lemon-yellow, backs<br />

spotted red. Lip side-lobes oblong quadrate, midlobe short ovate<br />

acute, all yellow, sometimes dotted red, spur large scrotiform retuse.<br />

Column very short. Anther ovate beaked. Capsule cylindric,<br />

1 in. long. Hab. Malacca (Maingay, Griffith); Brisu (Derry).<br />
