Sepals obovate-oblong dull yellow, base red. Petals smaller. Lip<br />

side-lobes truncate, midlobe very small ovate; spur a large subglobose<br />

sac contracted above, callus semicircular convex. Hab.<br />

Pahang, Kota Tongkat (Evans). Negri Sembilan, Seremban reservoir<br />

Stem weak, 3 to 8 in. long. Leaves linear-oblong acute, base<br />

slightly narrowed flaccid, 3 or 4 in. long, ·5 in. wide; sheath ribbed<br />

keeled, ·25 to ·5 in. long. Racemes 4 to 6 in. long, slender angled.<br />

Flowers nearly ·25 in. long, numerous distant. Upper sepal ovate<br />

cymbiform, laterals ovate-orbicular slightly falcate. Petals narrower<br />

oblong blunt. All yellow with red streaks. Lip side-lobes<br />

oblong truncate, midlobe linear acuminate; spur longer than<br />

pedicel cylindric dilate in middle, tip broad saccate, calli none.<br />

Hab. Perak, Temengoh, on tree-trunks (Ridley).<br />

Stem stout tall. Leaves linear narrowed at base, bilobed at tip.<br />

Flowers ·25 in. wide, yellow spotted red; pedicel·12 in. long. Sepals<br />

ovate coriaceous. Petals thinner. Lip boat-shaped, side-lobes<br />

very short oblong, midlobe large fleshy ovate grooved ending in a<br />

slender horn, bifid at tip; spur short conic blunt. Column large.<br />

Hab. Very rare. Kedah Peak (Ridley).<br />

violet, midlobe hastate blunt, spur horizontal not septate; callus<br />

obtriangular white. Anther ovate beaked. Pollinia globose,<br />

caudicle linear, disc broad hastate. Capsule .36 in. long. Hab.<br />

On trees by the sea, common. Singapore, Pulau Tekong; Sungei<br />

Morai. Johor, Tana Runto. Negri Sembilan, Port Dickson and<br />

Siliau (Williams). Dlstnb. Sumatra, Rhio, Borneo.<br />
