below, covered with copious brown bracts. Flowers ·12 in. wide,<br />

pure white. Sepals ovate-Ianceolate recurved; mentum long,<br />

narrow blunt. Petals linear. Lip linear-oblong tip of 2 parallel<br />

blunt linear lobes with a small forked callus at their base. Column<br />

rather long. Capsule pear-shaped, ·25 in. long. H abo Common<br />

Stem 12 to 15 in. long, like that of D. serra. Leaves lanceolate<br />

or ovate-Ianceolate acute, ·75 to I in. long, ·25 in. wide. Flowers<br />

very small, white. Sepals ovate blunt; mentum short broad<br />

blunt. Petals linear acute. Lip linear-oblong, midlobe bilobed<br />

rounded broader. Column rather larger than in D. serra, pink.<br />

Pollinia narrow linear. Capsule pear-shaped, ·25 in. long. Hab.<br />

Rare. Pahang, Tahan valley (Ridley).<br />

Habit of the two preceding. Stems branched, over I ft.<br />

long. Leaves ovate acute rather distant, ·5 to ·75 in. long, ·75 in.<br />

wide. Flowers pink, ·75 in. wide. Upper sepals ovate, laterals<br />

wider, mentum long straight, tip thicker. Petals small ovatelanceolate.<br />

Lip long narrow, side-lobes very short, midlobe obovate<br />

with oblong grooved callus at base yellow, tip bilobed, lobes broad<br />

round. Column rather long. Hab. Rare, Johor, Gunong Pantai<br />

(Ridley). Dtstrib. Borneo, common.<br />
