or lanceolate blunt, laterals deflexed. Petals smaller ovatelanceolate,<br />

all green spotted red. Lip small stipitate tongue-shaped,<br />

tip decurved verrucose. Column arms bifid, the lower lobes longer,<br />

deflexed. Capsule 1'5 in. long, green spotted purple. Hab. On<br />

trees. Selangor, Rwala Lumpur (Curtis). Perak, Gunong Batu<br />

lanceolate acute, laterals deflexed falcate broader, 2 in. long. Petals<br />

lanceolate. Lip broad ovate recurved often speckled red. Column<br />

broad, arms obscure. Hab. Rare. Perak, Thaiping Hills (Stephens).<br />

Rhizome slender branched; pseudo bulbs numerous crowded<br />

cylindric, 2 in. long, '5 in. through. Leaf oblanceolate acute, 6 in.<br />

long, 1'5 in. wide. Peduncle'5 in. long; pedicel and. ovary r in.<br />

long. Flower'5 in. across, hardly expanding. Sepals lanceolate<br />

acute, pale yellOW with many longitudinal grooves 1 in. long.<br />

Petals shorter, yellowish white. Lip fleshy oblong, tip decurved,<br />

base excavate, reddish pink, '25 in. long. Column arms long<br />

decurved blunt. Hab. On trees in woods, Singapore, Chan Chu<br />

Rang (Ridley).<br />

sepal lanceolate acute, laterals much wider ovate blunt. Petals<br />

lanceolate acute, nearly as large as upper sepal, yellow with red<br />

stripes. Lip fleshy ovate-cordate, '25 in. long, dark maroon,<br />

2 raised rounded lobes at base and mass of papilla! on disc. Column<br />

foot long, tip free, arms triangular blunt. Hab. Very rare. Climbing<br />

on trees in forest, Malacca, base of Mt. Ophir (Ridley).<br />
