and all along Kelantan River (Ridley). Jalor, Biserat (Gwynne­<br />

Vaughan). Distrtb. India, Siam, Borneo.<br />

4. EURYCLES, Salisb.<br />

A bulbous plant. Leaves petiolate orbicular-cordate or ovaloblong<br />

with distant veins and transverse veinlets. Flowers numerous<br />

in an umbel, white. Involucral bracts 2 or 3 Ianceolate, floral<br />

bracts linear. Perianth-tube funnel-shaped, tube slender, lobes<br />

broad. Stamens shorter, connected by a petaloid cup (corona).<br />

Anthers oblong, sagittate. Ovary 3-locular; ovules 2 in a cell.
