Rhizome long; pseudobulbs closely appressed to it, oblong,<br />

tips cun'ed up, nearly '5 in. long. Leaf lanceolate, '5 in. long,<br />

'12 in. wide, base narrowed. Peduncle capillary 1'5 in. long.<br />

Bract funnel-shaped, '12 in. long. Sepals lanceolate, '18 in. long,<br />

laterals wider. Petals minute one-quarter length of sepallanceolate,<br />

all orange. Lip tongue-shaped, deep orange, bent in middle, threequarters<br />

length of sepal. Column thick, arms setaceous long.<br />

Hab. Pahang, Gunong Tahan, in moss (Robinson).<br />

Rhizome filiform; pseudobulbs prostrate, tips ascending '12 in.<br />

long and as distant. Leaf oblanceolate spathulate, blunt, I in.<br />

long, '12 in. wide. Peduncle filiform, 3 in. long. Flower'5 in.<br />

wide, orange-yellow streaked darker. Upper sepal lanceolate,<br />

laterals semi-ovate blunt broader. Petals very small, yellow,<br />

midrib green. Lip fleshy blunt oblong flat, reddish purple. Arms<br />

of column subulate. Hab. Rare. Pahang, Gunong Berumbun,<br />

Telom at 6000 ft. altitude (Ridley).<br />

Rhizome short, slender, covered with the prostrate ellipticoblong<br />

pseudo bulbs, '05 in. long. Leaves elliptic acute, '1 in.<br />

long, coriaceous. Scape filiform, '3 in. long. Bract cupular<br />

truncate minute. Flower'I in. long, very pale-straw colour almost<br />

white. Sepals broad lanceolate-ovate acute equal. Petalobovate,<br />

much shorter. Lip ovate tongue-shaped blunt straw colour with a<br />

touch of pink beneath. Column short, arms slender horn-shaped<br />

longer than the anther. Hab. Mountains, rare, Pahang, Fraser<br />

Hill on a bank (Burkill and Holttum).<br />

The most minute species I have seen.<br />

Rhizome very long and slender, no pseudobulbs. Leaves'5 in.<br />

apart, ovate fleshy reddish covered with sh.:>rt black hairs, '25 in.<br />

amplexicaul. Pedicel '12 in. long. Sepals elliptic-ovate<br />

blunt, '25 in. long, primrose yellow. Petals half as long, paler.<br />

Lip oblong-ovate, blunt flat dull red, edges paler, 2 low keels in<br />

centre. Column arms broad round, short. Hab. Rare, Pahang,<br />

Gunong Taban (Ridley).<br />
