Stems tufted, over I ft. long, flattened, nearly ·5 in. through.<br />
Leaves lanceolate acuminate unequally bilobed, 7 in. long, ·75 in.<br />
wide, thin. Racemes 4, woolly, I ft. long. Flowers very numerous,<br />
·12 in. long; pedicel and ovary '25 in. long. Bracts ovate<br />
acuminate, '12 in. long. Upper sepal elliptic, laterals broader<br />
blunt, backs woolly greenish yellow mside, mentum broad, round<br />
short. Petals oblong blunt. Lip side-lobes sub-falcate, oblong<br />
white with pink spots, midlobe clawed reniform, deep purple with<br />
a white powdery callus and a lobed one at the base of lip. Column<br />
short, foot long, white edged purple. Capsule elliptic, ·25 in. long.<br />
Hab. On trees in mountain forests, at 3000 ft. altitude and upwards,<br />
Pahang, Kluang Terbang (Barnes); Telom. Selangor, Semangkok<br />
Pass. Perak, Thaiping Hills at 3800 to 5000 ft. altitude (all collectors).<br />
