from the base. Anther lanceolate. Rostellum arms as long blunt.<br />
Hab. Local in dead leaves in forests at 2000 to 4000 ft. altitude.<br />
Perak, Thaiping Hills, Maxwell's Hill (Scortechini, Wray, Curtis,<br />
etc.).<br />
This really belongs to the genus CystoPlIs Bl., but I do not find that<br />
this genus can be kept distinct.<br />

Terrestrial herb. Leaves ovate pctioled. Scape tall; flowers<br />
small. Upper sepal adnate to petals. Lip adnate to base of column,<br />
saccate with 2 glands inside, side-lobes short; midlobe clawed,<br />
tip dilate. Column short with a boat-shaped process in front<br />
projecting into the lip-sac. Anther acuminate. Pollinia 2 in a<br />
single caudicle. Species 1, Malayan.<br />

wide, deep velvety green marbled and veined with lighter colour;<br />
petioles short, sheaths broad reddish. Scape 1 ft. long or more,<br />
pubescent. Flowers numerous. Sepals ovate pink, laterals larger<br />
falcate. Lip longer, white bilobed. H abo Local. Penang, Telok<br />

Terrestrial herbs. Leaves ovate petiolate. Spike tall, pubescent;<br />
flowers numerous small. Bracts lanceolate. Sepals and<br />
petals connivent. Lip saccate 3-lobed, spurless with 2 calli at base.<br />
Column short thick. Anther long. Pollinia long-stalked on very<br />
small disc. Rostellum bifid, lobes very long, curved. Two very<br />
large curved laminre from column below stigma. Species recorded<br />
about 6, Malay isles to Solomon isles.<br />
