Stems 12 ft. tall, clubbed at base. Leaves oblong-Ianceolate<br />

2 in. long, I in. wide. Flowers 5 in. long, red. Calyx 3 in. long,<br />

base silky. Corolla lobes lorate. Lip as long, red, edges white.<br />

Anther crestless, red. Hab. Rare. Pahang, Tahan woods<br />

(Ridley).<br />

Stem tall. Leaves linear-lanceolate acuminate glabrous, 18 in.<br />

above, I in. long and nearly as wide. Calyx 1'5 in. long, unequally<br />

bilobed. Corolla tube 2 in. long, lobes linear-oblong, blunt, 1 in.<br />

Rhizome stilted on stiff roots. Stems 12 to 15 ft. tall, base clubbed.<br />

Leaves oblong cuspidate, 3 ft. long, 6 in. across, glabrous; petioles<br />

'S in. long. Spikes elongate conic-cylindric, 8 in. tall. Bracts<br />

ovate round, edges hairy, minutely striolate with irregular transverse<br />

elevations. Calyx 2 in. long, trilobed. Corolla 5 in. long,<br />

upper lobe 1 in. long. Lip side-lobes small, tip round pubescent.<br />

Filament hairy; anther-crest ovate acute. Hab. In forests at<br />

3000 to 4000 ft. altitude. Pahang, Telom; Fraser Hill (Burkill).<br />
