Stems very long stout furfuraceous. Panicle large. Flowers
'75 in. wide. Sepals ovate acute, laterals oblique, larger yellow.

Petals lanceolate white. Lip obscurely 3-lobed, toothed papillose
within yellowish white with dull red streaks. Column curved,
foot short. Capsule cylindric, 6 in. long, '5 to 1 in. through. Hab.
In' open spaces among lalang and in cleared land. Singapore
(Wallich), Kranji. johor, Gunong janing (Kelsall). Malacca,
Tebong (Griffith); Bukit Besar, Mt. Ophir. Selangor, Batu
