Terrestrial stems, graceful terete, sometimes branched, 2 to<br />

3 ft. tall. Leaves linear-Ianceolate unequally bilobed, 2 in. long,<br />

nearly '25 in. wide, sheaths I in. long, black pubescent. Flowers<br />

solitary pendulous from sheaths '5 in. long. Sepals lanceolate<br />

acute, yellowish with pale red network, mentum '5 in. long, narrow<br />

blunt straight. Petals narrow linear recurved. Lip shorter, 3-lobed,<br />

side-lobes narrow erect, blunt, midlobe orbicular, primrose yellow.<br />

Column shori, base thicker. Hab. Terrestrial on dead leaves,<br />

up to 4000 ft. altitude. Singapore, Bajau; Sungei Buluh. Malacca,<br />

Epiphyte 2 to 3 ft. tall, flattened above. Leaves lanceolate<br />

lorate unequally bilobed thin light green, 4 in. long, '3 to '5 in. wide,<br />

sheaths '75 in. long, wrinkled. Raceme from centre of an internode<br />

very short enclosed in oblong blunt bracts. Flowers 2, yellowish<br />

unexpanded, '5 in. long, pedicel '5 in. long; ovary '12 in. long.<br />

Upper sepal lanceolate blunt, laterals larger triangular-Ianceolate;<br />

mentum as long, thick curved. Petals linear-Ianceolate acute.<br />

Lip shorter narrow spathulate entire thin. Capsule ovoid, '5 in.<br />

long. Hab. On trees. Singapore, Serangoon. Malacca, Bukit<br />
