Slender tufted moss-like plant, branched, 3 to 12 in. long.
Leaves linear acute, 'I2 in. long. Racemes very short. Flowers
minute. Upper sepal ovate blunt, laterals larger oblique, mentum
short round. Petals oblong blunt. Lip oblong-obovate blunt
cordate with a horn on each side. Column arms ensiform truncate;
anther ovate cordate at length bifid. Pollinia in pairs enclosed in

Slender usually much branched. Stems 4 to 8 in. long. Leaves
oblong-elliptic spreading, '5 in. long, mucronate. Racemes or
panicles terminal, '25 in. long. Flowers minute white. Sepals
ovate, laterals oblique, mentum bilobed blunt. Petals nearly as
long and broader with a median violet line. Lip oblong.ovate
blunt. Anther lanceolate acute, pollinia 6 elongate pear-shaped,
caudicle I, disc ovate red. Rostellum triangular-Ianceolate
minutely bifid. Hab. On trees, often forming mats. Common,

More erect than the preceding, with broad-spreading leaves. Lindley
has 2 speCIes under P. lenuts, viz. \Vallich's Penang plant, and a Himalayan
