Setting Up and Operating the ePortal Specialty Engine Troubleshooting During the restoration process certain failures might occur, some of which are recoverable. The following table lists actions you can take against certain symptoms. Symptom Action Expected Result Once restore started, the Management website did not navigate to the restore status page. Restore status page stuck on one step for an unusually long time. Refresh the browser or close the current browser and open a new browser window. Then, type the URL of the default controller. The restore status page should appear. Refresh the browser. The status page should update and eventually finish. If the browser is stuck at one step, there might be a serious problem. Section 6 Setting Up and Operating the JProcessor Specialty Engine This section describes the steps to make the JProcessor Specialty Engine operational. Configuring JProcessor Specialty Engine Refer to the ClearPath Virtual Machine for the Java 7.0 Platform on ClearPath MCP Installation and Administration Guide for information related to JProcessor Specialty Engine configuration. JProcessor Specialty Engine Operational Considerations Note: The operational considerations in this subsection only apply if you have obtained a JProcessor license. If you purchased the JProcessor license, a Unisys service representative installed and configured the JProcessor Specialty Engine for use. If you do not have a JProcessor license, the service representative configured the MCP to be Java-ready. JProcessor Secured Configuration The JProcessor Specialty Engine is configured in a similar manner as the other environments with respect to security and reliability. The features of the JProcessor secured configuration include • No removable media access in the JProcessor environments Having no removable media access completely prevents malicious software getting into the system through portable USB devices or CD/DVD media. • The secure access device isolates the networking on the JProcessor environment from directly accessing the public LAN.
