Self-Test #11 (Error Number 11): Calibrator Bridge Voltage Error<br />
This test uses the same software as the Calibration cycle to check the bridge voltage.<br />
1. Check A3TP9. Must be between +3 and +10 Vdc.<br />
2. Check PPI chip A3U9.<br />
3. Check A3U14, A3U15, A3U10, A3U13, and A3U18A.<br />
4. Check the Calibrator (A12).<br />
5. Check Address Decoder A4U34.<br />
Input/Output & Calibration Failures<br />
1. The External Trigger input is not functioning.<br />
a. External Trigger not selected. See External Triggering in Section 2.6.2.<br />
b. Check A5Q1.<br />
c. Check A5U31 and A5U30.<br />
d. Check A5U7.<br />
2. The External Frequency input is not functioning.<br />
a. The External Frequency input has not been selected. See PROM Frequency Correction in<br />
Section 2.8.2.<br />
b. Check A6U20 (or A7U20 if this is a B channel problem).<br />
c. Check A6R81, A6R140, and A6C94.<br />
d. Check A6U1.<br />
3. The SYNC OUTPUT is not functioning.<br />
a. Check A5U35C.<br />
☛ NOTE: This is an ECL level pulse with a width of approximately 20 ns.<br />
4. The RF BLANKING OUTPUT is not functioning properly.<br />
a. Check A3Q7.<br />
b. Check A3U8.<br />
5. The MONITOR OUTPUT is not working.<br />
a. Check A6U30, A6U32 (or A7U30, A7U32 if it is a B channel problem).<br />
6. The PPM passes self-test, but fails when attempting to calibrate the detector.<br />
a. Replace the detector.<br />
b. Replace the detector cable.<br />
c. Refer to the GPIB/Cal control board instructions in Section 5.3.7 to check the Calibrator<br />
output.<br />
