Configuring Carriers
9.5.5.4 Carousel NT Carrier Attributes
The additional attributes which you can configure for the Carousel NT carrier are
as follows:

1 The carousel must be subdivided into several
logical carousels (separate sets of towers) if
you want to use it to store a mixture of labware
types with different dimensions. To create
logical carousels, make copies of the
carousel carrier (right-click the carrier in the
Control Bar and choose Duplicate) and specify
the starting tower, the slot pitch height, the
Y dimensions (number of towers) and a new
name for each copy. a)
The settings for starting tower and number of
towers must not overlap the settings of other
logical carousels for this device. You should
not put labware with different dimensions in
the same tower. For the Carousel NT, slot
pitch height is configured in the driver (see
8.5.3.2 “Carousel NT Configuration - Hotel -
Cartridge Configuration Tab”, 8-46).
BCZOffset 450 Offset in device steps to adjust the vertical
position of the barcode scanner. This setting
is related to the distance between the barcode
label and the bottom edge of the labware.
Server CarouselNT Specify the call name for the device (the internal
name of the device driver).

9.5.5.5 Centrifuge Carrier Attributes
The additional attributes which you can configure for the centrifuge carrier are as
follows:
