SECTION 075419 - POLYVINYL-CHLORIDE (PVC) ROOFING: continued<br />

1.06 SUBMITTALS:<br />

A. Product Data: For each type <strong>of</strong> product indicated.<br />

B. LEED Submittals:<br />

1. Product Data for Credit SS 7.2: For ro<strong>of</strong> materials, indicating that ro<strong>of</strong> materials comply<br />

with Solar Reflectance Index requirement.<br />

2. Product Data for Credit IEQ 4.1: For adhesives and sealants used inside the<br />

weatherpro<strong>of</strong>ing system, documentation including printed statement <strong>of</strong> VOC content.<br />

C. Shop Drawings: For ro<strong>of</strong>ing system. Include plans, elevations, sections, details, and<br />

attachments to other work.<br />

1. Base flashings and membrane terminations.<br />

2. Tapered insulation, including slopes.<br />

3. Ro<strong>of</strong> plan showing orientation <strong>of</strong> steel ro<strong>of</strong> deck and orientation <strong>of</strong> membrane ro<strong>of</strong>ing.<br />

4. Insulation fastening patterns for corner, perimeter, and field-<strong>of</strong>-ro<strong>of</strong> locations.<br />

D. Samples for Verification: For the following products:<br />

1. Sheet ro<strong>of</strong>ing, <strong>of</strong> color specified, including T-shaped side and end lap seam.<br />

2. Ro<strong>of</strong> insulation.<br />

3. Metal termination bars.<br />

4. Six insulation fasteners <strong>of</strong> each type, length, and finish.<br />

1.07 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS:<br />

A. Qualification Data: For qualified Installer and manufacturer.<br />

B. Manufacturer Certificates: Signed by ro<strong>of</strong>ing manufacturer certifying that ro<strong>of</strong>ing system<br />

complies with requirements specified in "Performance Requirements" Article.<br />

1. Submit evidence <strong>of</strong> compliance with performance requirements.<br />

C. Product Test Reports: Based on evaluation <strong>of</strong> comprehensive tests performed by manufacturer<br />

and witnessed by a qualified testing agency, for components <strong>of</strong> membrane ro<strong>of</strong>ing system.<br />

D. Field quality-control reports.<br />

E. Warranties: Sample <strong>of</strong> special warranties.<br />

1.08 CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS:<br />

A. Maintenance Data: For ro<strong>of</strong>ing system to include in maintenance manuals.<br />

1.09 QUALITY ASSURANCE:<br />

A. Manufacturer Qualifications: A qualified manufacturer that is FM Approvals approved for<br />

membrane ro<strong>of</strong>ing system identical to that used for this Project.<br />

B. Installer Qualifications: A qualified firm that is approved, authorized, or licensed by<br />

membrane ro<strong>of</strong>ing system manufacturer to install manufacturer's product and that is eligible to<br />

receive manufacturer's special warranty.<br />

C. Source Limitations: Obtain components including ro<strong>of</strong> insulation and fasteners for membrane<br />

ro<strong>of</strong>ing system from same manufacturer as membrane ro<strong>of</strong>ing or approved by membrane<br />

ro<strong>of</strong>ing manufacturer.<br />

D. Exterior Fire-Test Exposure: ASTM E108, Class A, for application and ro<strong>of</strong> slopes indicated,<br />

as determined by testing identical membrane ro<strong>of</strong>ing materials by a qualified testing agency.<br />

Materials shall be identified with appropriate markings <strong>of</strong> applicable testing agency.<br />

E. Fire-Resistance Ratings: Where indicated, provide fire-resistance-rated ro<strong>of</strong> assemblies<br />

identical to those <strong>of</strong> assemblies tested for fire resistance per ASTM E119 by a qualified testing<br />

agency. Identify products with appropriate markings <strong>of</strong> applicable testing agency.<br />
