3. Insulated Exterior/Interior Panel: Fabricated from 0.028-inch nominal-thickness,<br />

galvanized-steel, 0.032-inch thick, aluminum sheet faces and expanded-foam insulation<br />

core.<br />

a. Thermal Resistance Value (R-Value): R-17.<br />

4. Downspouts: Integral, extending 3 inches beyond booth walls.<br />

5. Ro<strong>of</strong> gutters.<br />

F. Swinging Door: 1-3/4 inches thick; tubular-frame design fabricated from galvanized steel;<br />

with top half <strong>of</strong> door glazed. Equip door with deadlock, three butt hinges, closer, and full<br />

weather stripping.<br />

1. Deadlock: Mortised, with lever handle and removable cylinder capable <strong>of</strong> being master<br />

keyed.<br />

G. Finish: Finish exposed metal surfaces, including structural framework, walls, canopy, and<br />

ceiling with rust-inhibitive primer and one finish coat <strong>of</strong> industrial air-dry acrylic enamel.<br />

1. Color: As selected by Contracting Officer from manufacturer's full range.<br />

2.04 FABRICATION:<br />

A. Fabricate enclosure completely in factory.<br />

B. Preglaze enclosure doors at factory.<br />

C. Prewire enclosure at factory, ready for connection to service at Project site.<br />

D. Fabricate enclosure with forklift pockets in base <strong>of</strong> enclosure.<br />

2.05 GENERAL FINISH REQUIREMENTS:<br />

A. Comply with NAAMM's "Metal Finishes Manual for Architectural and Metal Products" for<br />

recommendations for applying and designating finishes.<br />

B. Appearance <strong>of</strong> Finished Work: Noticeable variations in same piece are not acceptable.<br />

Variations in appearance <strong>of</strong> adjoining components are acceptable if they are within the range <strong>of</strong><br />

approved Samples and are assembled or installed to minimize contrast.<br />

2.06 FINISHES:<br />

A. Steel Factory Finish: Immediately after cleaning and pretreating, apply manufacturer's<br />

standard two-coat, baked-on finish consisting <strong>of</strong> prime coat and thermosetting topcoat.<br />

1. Color and Gloss: As selected by Contracting Officer from manufacturer's full range.<br />

B. Baked-Enamel or Powder-Coat Finish: AAMA 2603 except with a minimum dry film<br />

thickness <strong>of</strong> 1.5 mils. Comply with coating manufacturer's written instructions for cleaning,<br />

conversion coating, and applying and baking finish.<br />

1. Color and Gloss: As selected by Contracting Officer from manufacturer's full range.<br />

PART 3 - EXECUTION<br />

3.01 EXAMINATION:<br />

A. Examine substrates, areas, and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with<br />

requirements for installation tolerances and other conditions affecting performance <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Work.<br />

B. Prepare written report, endorsed by Installer, listing conditions detrimental to performance <strong>of</strong><br />

the Work.<br />

C. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.<br />

3.02 INSTALLATION:<br />

A. Install enclosure according to manufacturer's written instructions.<br />
